Becker Named CEO

ISPFCU of Springfield, Ill., last week announced that Megan Becker had been promoted to chief executive officer.

Becker has been with ISPFCU since February 2002 and previously was the credit union’s accountant and chief operations officer. She received her degree in accounting from the University of Illinois in 2001.

In her various roles within the CU, Becker has worked closely with her fellow employees and the members to help make ISPFCU a stronger, more member friendly financial institution, the credit union said. Becker plans to continue to work to be sure ISPFCU is fulfilling their mission statement of delivering “needed financial services to members in the most convenient and courteous way possible while remaining a financially strong Credit Union. All this to be done in the spirit of people helping people,” she said in a statement.

ISPFCU’s field of membership includes all law enforcement throughout the state of Illinois and their immediate families.
