Aite Group will host a free webinar next Wednesday, June 15, on how credit unions can grow their penetration in the small business segment.
Christine Barry, Aite Group research director, will discuss the findings from the report “The Small Business Strategies of U.S. Credit Unions.”
Based on the results of an online survey of 83 U.S. credit unions conducted by Boston-based Aite in December 2010 and January 2011, the webinar will shed light on the ways in which credit unions can leverage technology to serve small businesses.
These include remote deposit capture, online business banking applications, mobile banking and social media, according to the firm.
Barry will also discuss reasons for credit unions to target small business customers, challenges credit unions can expect in targeting this market, tools and technologies that will appeal to the small business customer and potential rewards of a well-executed strategy.
