The latest version of Wescom Resources Group’s mobile banking platform is for credit union members with Apples in their eyes.
MemberEdge Mobile Banking 2.0 is solely for Apple product users and includes upgrades such as native support for the iPad and its larger screen, according to the technology solutions CUSO of the $2.7 billion Wescom Credit Union in Pasadena, Calif.
"It’s not enough for credit unions to deploy ‘me too’ products. With Mobile 2.0, we offer a solution that our clients can use to separate themselves out from the crowd of other institutions," said John Best, senior vice president and chief technology officer of WRG.
The CUSO said it now has 30 credit union clients using its mobile banking offerings and more than 225 credit unions overall using its lineup of solutions that also includes bill pay, remote deposit, alerts, multi-factor authentication, online account opening and a Symitar Episys service bureau.
