With hurricane season set to start June 1, the SBA is reminding small businesses, credit unions and other lenders to take a proactive approach.
The agency and Agility Recovery Solutions will host a free webinar May 17 at 2 p.m. ET to offer small businesses tips on protecting customers, employees and infrastructure. The SBA said its partnership with ARS also offers business continuity strategies for entrepreneurs via their PrepareMyBusiness website.
Since 1953, the SBA said, it has provided more than $48 billion in disaster recovery funds to 1.9 million homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes in the form of low-interest loans.
