Michigan First Credit Union has joined the growing Young & Free family.
The Lathrup Village, Mich.-based credit union has launched its search for the Young & Free Michigan spokes person.
Responsibilities range from event appearances and writing daily blog entries, to posting weekly videos to the YoungFreeMichigan.com website. Developed by British Columbia-based Currency Marketing, Young & Free is a financial management program designed to engage 18- to 25-year-olds to effectively manage their money through a microsite, Facebook, Twitter and other nontraditional media.
As part of its launch, Michigan First has also unveiled the First Gear Account, which features include free unlimited check writing, a one-point auto loan rate discount, double MoneyPerks reward points for e-statements and direct deposits, and an integrated personal financial management tool. In addition to smartphone mobile banking apps, remote check deposit capability and live chat are also included.
