Jack Henry Signs 20 CUs to Symitar Platforms

Twenty credit unions signed on as users of the two Symitar core processing systems in the second half of 2010, according to Jack Henry & Associates.

The signings were evenly divided between the Episys platform for larger credit unions and the CruiseNet platform for small and medium-sized credit unions, the Monett, Mo., company said.

New users include the $968 million Elevations CU in Boulder, Colo., which had been a Fiserv Spectrum client, according to the Callahan & Associates Technology Survey.

"Our employees will enjoy a comprehensive, integrated system that will ultimately help them to better serve our members. We are also looking forward to deploying Symitar's member business features, as member business services are critical to the credit union's future success," said Elevations CEO Gerry Agnes.

Symitar now has more than 700 clients on its systems. Jack Henry & Associates has a client list of more than 11,200 banks, credit unions and other organizations, the company said.
