Ticonderoga FCU CEO to Retire, Hayes Promoted

Add Ticonderoga Federal Credit Union President/CEO Gregory D. Johnson to the growing list of credit union leaders retiring this year.

Effective April 5, Johnson will retire after some 40 years of service to the Ticonderoga, NY-based credit union.

"I am grateful for the well trained and dedicated staff and management team for these years, and the loyalty of the board and membership for the opportunity to have been part of the most dynamic growth in the history of our credit union," Johnson said. "I do believe that our best years are yet to come."

The board has tapped Chief Financial Officer Shawn M. Hayes to succeed Johnson as president/CEO. Hayes has 15 years of experience in management and holds a dual B.S. degree in accounting and business administration.
