Credit Union Times ON AIR: Current Issues and Challenges in Credit Union Examinations

Thomas Candon, NASCUS chairman and deputy commissioner of the Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities & Health Care Administration in Vermont, discussed what his department is seeing at credit unions and the internal struggles regulators are facing. CUNA Deputy General Counsel Mary Dunn and NAFCU Director of Regulatory Affairs Anthony Demangone reviewed examination challenges they're hearing from member credit unions. They were joined by Tom Hinkel, director of compliance at Safe Systems, a compliance-centric IT solution provider specifically to financial institutions. CU Times Washington Reporter Claude Marx also guest hosted.
