Credit Union 24 reported that 28 new credit unions signed up with its nationwide ATM and POS network in 2010.
The CUSO also reported that 65 credit unions that were already members renewed their service contracts last year.
The gains brought an additional 185,000 card holders to the network, Credit Union 24 said.
"Credit unions recognized the valuable credit union-owned services we provide that enhance the financial livelihoods of their members as the economy slowly started to rebound in 2010," said Jim Park, CEO of Credit Union 24.
"We have created a strong, viable alternative network for credit unions-which is even more important to the credit union movement as we move into the uncertain regulatory environment in 2011. We are proud to continue to grow and expand, and offer our services to even more credit unions around the country throughout the coming year."
