The $327 million Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union in Rocky Hill, Conn., has signed up for share draft processing and image cash letter collection services from Vertifi Software LLC.
Vertifi was chosen because of its Check 21 experience and technology, the credit union said.
The subsidiary of Eastern Corporate Federal Credit Union of Burlington, Mass., said it now provides item processing services to more than 175 credit unions.
Vertifi said it also helped "numerous members of the Connecticut credit union community"-including four of the state's 10 largest-transition item processing from the former Constitution State Corporate FCU.
