FORUM CEO to Retire

Longtime FORUM Credit Union President/CEO Gary Irvin has announced that he will retire effective Dec. 31.

Irvin, who has served the Indianapolis-based credit union for some 30 years, 12 of which as president/CEO, said several factors influenced his decision to retire now, including the health of his elderly father and the arrival of another grandchild.

"I feel the time is right both personally and for the credit union for me to make this decision," he said. "FORUM has a solid foundation for the future and capable leadership within the board and senior executive team."

While the board begins the search for a new leader, Chief Risk/RIA Officer Michael Peterson has been tapped as interim CEO.
