Credit Unions Have New 'In' With Congress

Rick Sense, Community First Credit Union's senior vice president of planning, government and community relations, has been named district chief of staff to Representative-Elect Reid Ribble.

Sense served in many capacities from communications to public policy over his nearly 20-year tenure at Community First CU. Community First practically swept Credit Union Times' 2010 Trailblazer Awards , including Outstanding Political Action, Lending Officer of the Year Glen Ogden, and Individual Community Services Joanie Johnson.

Sense also previously served as the director of development at Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin.

Ribble will serve on the Budget and Agriculture Committees.

In addition to Sense, Ribble (R-Wis.) also named McKay Daniels to serve as the Washington, DC chief of staff and Brandon Moody to serve as communications director. "I'm excited about each of these three hires. Each brings a unique perspective and wealth of talent to our team," Ribble said. "We're ready to get to work for the people of Wisconsin."
