Jack Henry & Associates has added online account opening from MeridianLink to the product lineup at its ProfitStars division.
The company said its Opening Act Express solution uses MeridianLink's platform to provide basic and advanced online account opening services that can be integrated with any core and online banking platform and support institution-
defined products.
Funding options include ACH, debit and credit cards and the process includes identity verification, credit, OFAC and check history checks.
"Opening Act Express offers the flexibility to initiate account opening with the bare essentials and expand to more advanced services-proven scalability that is very important as consumer demand for online services continues to escalate," said David Foss, president of Jack Henry's ProfitStars division.
MeridianLink said its multi-channel lending and account opening solutions are now in use by more than 400 credit unions and other financial institutions. More than 26,000 end users now use its enterprise business solutions that include Web-based credit reporting, the Costa Mesa, Calif., company said.
Monett, Mo.-based Jack Henry now serves more than 11,000 credit unions, banks and other financial services customers, the company said.
