TruMark Financial CEO on Governor's Transition Team

Pennsylvania Gov.-elect Tom Corbett has selected Richard Stipa, CEO of TruMark Financial Credit Union, to serve on his transition team.

Stipa is part of a 400-member team that will examine every Pennsylvania state department and help Corbett formulate policy and choose key personnel, according to Corbett's office. The team will comprise 17 sub-teams that will make recommendations and send a final report in January.

Stipa is the only credit union representative on the 16-member banking team. James Biery, president/CEO of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association, is chairman of the team.

Corbett's other transition teams include agriculture, budget, pensions and revenue, Commonwealth Office of Administration and Department of General Services, criminal justice, economic development, education, energy and environment, health and aging, insurance, local government, public safety, state, transportation/infrastructure, welfare, and veterans.

The $1.3 billion TruMark Financial in Trevose, Pa., serves more than 94,000 members.
