The Society for Human Resource Management recently released survey results that reveal workplace flexibility programs can help in employee retention efforts. In addition, it was found that formal flexible work arrangements such as job sharing or part-time positions had a positive impact on employee morale, job satisfaction and engagement. To ensure it is beneficial for both employers and employees effective communication between managers and direct reports is key. Here's a look at the other findings.
