EasCorp said five more credit unions have committed to using remote deposit capture services from its Vertifi Software subsidiary.
They are the $169 million Altier CU of Tempe, Ariz., $2.3 billion Eastman CU of Kingsport, Tenn., $2.2 billion First Tech CU of Beaverton, Ore., $1 billion Rockland FCU of Rockland, Mass., and $115 million Prince George's Community FCU of Upper Marlboro, Md., EasCorp said.
First Tech plans to offer the mobile version of the DeposZip service--available as downloadable applications for iPhone and Android devices--to its members while the other four CUs are offering desktop RDC versions, the Burlington, Mass., corporate said.
There are currently 61 credit unions using the 3-year-old service, including 14 billion-dollar institutions, EasCorp said. More than $620 million in deposits have been handled, including from desktop scanners and mobile phone images, the corporate said.
