Fiserv Wins Kern Schools Core Bid

Fiserv Inc. said it will be converting Kern Schools Federal Credit Union to its XP2 core processing platform in February.

The $1.5 billion, 194,000-member credit union also will be using online account opening, anti-money laundering compliance, cash management, branch check imaging, IVR, electronic processing, enterprise content management and wire transfer solutions from Fiserv, along with the Corillian Online Internet banking platform, CheckFree bill pay, item processing and Mobile Money online banking.

The Bakersfield, Calif., credit union currently is running on a system from EPL Inc., according to its 5300 Call Report.

The credit union cited the XP2 platform's browser-based technology and the need to increase efficiencies and enhance member service for its decision, as well as the ability to seamlessly integrate a range of solutions from the same company.
