Paper Mountain Reduced by iPads

Count American Heritage Federal Credit Union as the latest credit union opting to go green with iPads.

The board and senior management team at the Philadelphia-based credit union have traded cumbersome paper reports and documents for iPads.

According to American Heritage FCU President/CEO Bruce Foulke, the move is just part of a culture shift to increased environmental responsibility through the reduction of corporate waste.

"We are quite literally reducing our paper use for these recurring meetings by thousands of sheets of paper each time we have a meeting," Foulke said. "In addition to the cost savings on paper, adding the iPads keep us on the cutting edge on the technology side as well."
