uMonitor has released a mobile version of its online account opening, person-to-person and account-to-account money transfer services.
The Memphis, Tenn., company made the announcement Tuesday at the BAI Retail Delivery conference in Las Vegas.
The uOpen, uFund and uTransfer services can be used by any smart phone and are aimed at helping credit unions and banks create full channel integration, the company said, noting that there are an estimated 60 million smart phones in use in the United States today.
"The banking industry needs to work toward a unified delivery platform for user interactions," said Dinesh Sheth, CEO of uMonitor. "Multi-channel integration is truly the first step in deploying next generation banking services."
uMonitor serves about 125 financial institutions, about half of them credit unions.
