PSECU, CU*Answers Choose Firethorn Mobile Platform
Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union and CU*Answers said they have committed to the Firethorn mobile banking platform.
The deployment will allow $3.6 billion PSECU and the Grand Rapids, Mich., core processing CUSO to provide account balances, transaction histories, fund transfers and bill pay using Firethorn.
"We've found that our members like the added convenience of managing their finances on the go. By using Firethorn's mobile solution, they can access time-sensitive information from their mobile device at any time," said PSECU President Greg Smith in Harrisburg, Pa.
Randy Karnes, CEO of CU*Answers, a provider of technology and other services to more than 160 credit unions, said, "Firethorn's front-end application provides members with the freedom to choose their preferred access method of managing their personal finances."
Atlanta-based Firethorn LLC is a subsidiary of Qualcomm Inc. and lists more than a dozen large credit unions among its customers.
