Next week FORUM Credit Union will not only be celebrating International Credit Union Day but Indiana's fifth annual Money Smart Week as well.
Money Smart Week was designed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago to help consumers learn better personal finance management.
To kickoff the celebration the Indianapolis-based credit union has designated, Monday, Oct. 18 as Free Credit Check Day, where locals can receive a free credit check and analysis. Other events planned for the week range from Savings Day where members can receive $5 when they open a Weekly 5 Club, CommonCents, Sprout, or Santa Savings account, to Kids Day where there will be candy, activities, and information on FORUM's Aware Kids and Teens accounts.
