CUNA Picks Classic Band for GAC

In light of the nation's economic woes, CUNA is trying to bring some "Joy to the World."

The trade association isn't going for an early Christmas at its Governmental Affairs Conference. Rather, it has booked the band Three Dog Night as its opening night entertainment.

From 1969-1974, no popular music group had more top 10 hits than Three Dog Night. Among its best known songs was "Joy to the World," which proclaimed that "Jeremiah was a bull frog.''

The concert will take place following the opening reception at GAC, which runs from February 27-March 3 in Washington, D.C.
