Jennifer Simmons, chief membership officer of the Maryland & DC Credit Union Association, has been named the group's acting president/CEO effective on Monday, the association announced today.
Simmons, who has been with the association since 2006, will succeed Mike Beall, who is leaving to become president of the Missouri Credit Union Association. Beall will remain a consultant to the Maryland & DC Credit Union Association through Oct. 22.
Simmons previously was a manager of Signal Financial FCU and was on the staff of National Institutes of Health FCU and Montgomery County Teachers FCU.
The association previously announced that it has hired D. Hilton Associates to lead the search for a permanent successor to Beall.
