Help for Small CUs
Bator Training & Consulting Inc. has launched strategic planning seminars aimed at helping credit unions with under $100 million in assets.
The one-day strategic planning seminar sessions are slated to be held in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston in October.
According to BTC President/Founder Ken Bator, the idea was sparked during the planning of the Police Officers' Credit Union Conference when committee member Dennis Tucker asked if there was any type of template or guide available for small credit unions to develop and write a strategic plan.
"Dennis commented that small credit unions like his couldn't necessarily afford to hire a facilitator but still need strategic planning guidance. Neither I nor any of the other committee members knew of such a tool," said Bator. "Subsequently BTC created a strategic planning outline and one-day seminar specifically for small credit unions."
