The good news may have been a perfect segue for Dan Yaeger, the keynote speaker, who spoke on separating the good ones from the great ones in the face of adversity. Yaeger is a New York Times best-selling author who co-wrote a book on Warrick Dunn and has interviewed Michael Jordan, Jimmy Connors and other legendary athletes during his 20 years as a journalist for Sports Illustrated.
"It's about making a decision not to lose," Yaeger said.
