Oregon/Washington Leagues Slate Merger Meetings
On the road to a planned merger this November, the Washington and Oregon Credit Union Leagues detailed a series of Town Hall meetings in August and September to provide member input on the consolidation plan.
"This is an opportunity for every credit union in the two states to engage in the process," explained Troy Stang, president/CEO of the Credit Union Association of Oregon.
Stang said the 13 separate town hall sessions in the two states represents "an important step in the merger process to gather the perspectives and feedback of CEOs." A vote on the merger plan is scheduled for mid-November.
Joining Stang in meeting with CEOs will be John Annaloro, the president/CEO of the Washington Credit Union League and who is slated to retire within two years or perhaps sooner in line with completion of the merger transition.
