Belvoir Federal Credit Union has found a rewards program aimed at increased lending has been having an impact.
The CU's Instant Cash Back event has been a boon for members, paying out some $85,000 so far, the CU said.
The campaign focuses on bringing in new auto and personal loans, and offers members an instant 1% cash back of the entire loan amount at the time the loan is dispersed.
As part of the promotion members have been encouraged to share what they did with their 1% cash back with the credit union.
