The Filene Research Institute recently named Elevations Credit Union President/CEO Gerry Agnes to serve on its research council.
The council is made up of credit union presidents and CEOs who play a role in the continued advancement of the credit union movement.
"When searching out new candidates for the research council, we look for credit union leaders with a clear track record of innovation," said Mark Meyer, CEO of Filene.
Gerry has embraced innovation and change with the credit union's recent rebranding, investment in technology, and a clear commitment to making Elevations one of Colorado's superlative financial institutions."
As part of his appointment, Agnes will attend a workshop with Filene fellows in October about the future of consumer finance. Attendees will review eight new innovation ideas from Filene's i3 group.
