Move Your Money Looking to Expand Reach

The grassrootsMove Your Money campaign is looking to expand its reach by raising money for a nonprofit project to help the campaign grow.

Up until now the campaign has been full staffed by volunteers, but with its continued success and media coverage the campaign is looking to hire two full time staffers by accepting donations from the public.

The two staffers will help recruit supporters, will coordinate network groups working on Move Your Money efforts, recruit other organizations to help with policy work and promote and share the results of the campaign efforts. They will also work to develop an improved website that can implement a social networking space for people to rally around the cause.

The campaign also announced that it will be looking to start rallies in cities around the country to connect more people with local banks and credit unions.
