One of Brazil's largest credit unions has contracted with Accenture to provide information technology support and systems development as the credit union moves through a period of anticipated growth, the company and credit union said.
The strategic outsourcing will help $9 billion SICREDI focus on the development of micro to medium-sized enterprises in rural and urban areas, the credit union said.
"This decision will lead us to a new level of technology, helping us to increase our results and support in the development of new business, products and services for credit unions that are integrated or affiliated with our systems," said Den'lson Mascarenhas, SICREDI's IT executive director.
"We've worked with SICREDI to understand and address their technology in order to support their growth," said Roger Ingold, Accenture's managing director for Brazil. "As one of the main credit unions in Brazil, SICREDI is positioning itself for new competitive advantages and unprecedented scalability for future growth."
