Nassau Educators Launches Mobile 'Triple Play' April 5

Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union said it will be the only Long Island credit union to offer mobile banking's "triple play" when the service launches on April 5.

The $1.4 billion Westbury, N.Y., institution will offer its 140,000 members the ability to use SMS text messaging, mobile Web or downloadable applications to access their accounts through their mobile devices.

The service will use the mobile platform from mFoundry of Larkspur, Calif., to offer the ability to secretly check balances, search transactions, transfer money and pay bills, the credit union said.
