The 22 credit unions served by Credit Union On-Line Inc. are now being offered online account opening and Facebook account management solutions from Fiserv Inc.
Based in Waltham, Mass., CUOL is the sole service bureau provider of Fiserv's XP2 core processing platform.
The two new applications-named Account Create and MyMoney-"will give members and prospective members an easy way to open accounts on the Web and to manage their accounts through Facebook," said CUOL President/CEO Connie Boretti.
Medical Area Federal Credit Union, a $66 million institution in Brookline, will be the first credit union in the state offering the MyMoney solution, CUOL said, while $640 million RTN FCU in Waltham will CUOL's first Account Create user.
