Genisys Offers Check-Ups

At Genisys Credit Union, a financial fitness program all begins with regular check-ups, so the Auburn Hills, Mich.-based credit union is offering locals free credit reviews with experts. Interested consumers simply come into a branch with a copy of their credit report and credit score and Genysis representatives will help translate.

"It's extremely important for people to review their finances each year," said Glenda West, Genisys CU vice president of branch operations. "It helps prevent identity theft, monitors spending patterns and finds ways to save you money."

Active in the community, the credit union recently sponsored the 18th hole for the second annual indoor miniature golf tournament to benefit the White Lake Township Library.
