Bellco Credit Union said it now has check imaging in place at 50 of its ATMs, following a February conversion to payment processing from CO-OP Financial Services.
The $1.92 billion Colorado credit union said it has received positive feedback from members about the service, which allows check deposits without envelopes or deposit slips and provides a scanned image of the deposit on the receipt.
"Our processing costs have been greatly reduced by eliminating the need for daily couriers," said Georgeen Goodell, Bellco's director of system operations.
