The Louise Herring Award was presented based on the credit union's fusion savings program, a solution that promotes systematic savings.

Andrews Federal Credit Union, Suitland, Md., received the cross of gratitude from the American Gold Star Mothers during their annual Gold Star Mothers banquet. The credit union received the award in recognition of its support of the N.J. Run for the Fallen event, which was held in honor of service members. Funds raised during the run were donated to the Gold Star Mothers National Monument fund.

Kern Schools Federal Credit Union, Bakersfield, Calif., received several awards from local nonprofit organizations for supporting charities. The credit union received recognition and a plaque for selling the most tickets for the 7th annual St. Jude's dream home giveaway in Bakersfield, Calif., helping raise over $713,800 for the fight against childhood cancer.
