Non-Attendees Can Follow Cherry Blossom Run Online

People who can't make it to Washington this weekend for the Cherry Blossom Run can do the next best thing, turn on their computer and watch the action online.

There will be live video streaming of Sunday's 38th Annual Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run at the start/finish line, starting with the pre-race opening ceremonies at 7:15 a.m. ET. Approximately 15,000 people have signed up to participate in the race.

The annual race is a major fundraising event for Children's Miracle Network, collecting donations for the network of 136 children's hospitals across the U.S. that treat over 17 million children annually.

Last year's event raised $1 million.
