New Site Launched for Financial Literacy Month

To help kickoff Financial Literacy Month, the National Foundation for Credit Counseling has launched www.termineconsudeuda.org, a new financial Web site designed to serve the Hispanic community.

The site offers a variety of financial education tools ranging from workbooks including a common sense approach to managing money and step-by-step guide to buying a home, to a Consumer Tips section that features budget worksheets, calculators and relevant articles. In addition, consumers in deep financial distress will find an overview of the bankruptcy process.

The NFCC also created a DVD for borrowers concerned about foreclosure. C?mo Evitar la Ejecuci?n Hipotecaria is available to consumers free of charge, and can be ordered through the Web site.
