Check imaging is now in place at 50 of Bellco Credit Union's ATMs, the $1.92 billion Colorado credit union said.
The service allows check deposits without envelopes or deposit slips and provides a scanned image on the receipt.
Member feedback has been positive and processing costs have been reduced by eliminating the need for daily couriers, Bellco said.
The imaging service was part of Bellco's conversion in February to CO-OP Financial Services payment services that also included ATM terminal driving, signature debit and ATM PIN processing.
Bellco has been with the 3,000-member California-based CUSO since it joined CO-OP's ATM network in 2004.
