Chairman McCulley

OMNI Community Credit Union is mourning the loss of longtime credit union activist and board chairman Bobby J. McCulley, who passed away at the age of 72.

Over the last 20 years, McCulley served in a variety of roles at the Battle Creek, Mich.-based credit union from serving on the credit committee to chairing the policy, personnel and building committees. Dedicated to current credit union trends, McCulley continued his education through regular conference attendance and completing all of the VAP/VLP home study education modules.

"This is a tremendous loss for us. Bobby was a true champion not only for OMNI but also the credit union movement," said OMNI Community CU CEO Ted Parsons. "He was so supportive of growing the organization and rewarding team members for their contribution here. We all truly appreciated his leadership on the board, and will dearly miss him."

McCulley is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Michael and Robert; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three siblings.

Memorial contributions may be given to Humane Society of South Central Michigan.
