CommonWealth Central Credit Union plans to go live soon with a set of online banking tools from PM Systems Corp., the company and credit union said.

Services to be deployed by the $362 million San Jose, Calif. institution include Web site design, bill pay, mobile banking and automated lending.

"We anticipate expanded and improved remote service capabilities while controlling the expenses and costs associated with additional electronic delivery channels. We also anticipate improved communications and marketing capabilities using these new technologies," said CommonWealth Central CEO Craig Weber.

"We're pleased to be assisting CommonWealth Central Credit Union with its online delivery channel initiative and expect to enhance its level of member service- especially the younger demographic using mobile banking," said Robert Broadwell, executive vice president for PM Systems Corp. in Chapin, S.C.

PM Systems now provides Internet banking and security services to about 190 credit unions with 1.2 million direct online subscribers and 4.2 million consumers representing approximately $22 billion in assets, the company said.
