Service Credit Union Names CIO

A credit union technology veteran has been named the new chief information officer at $1.3 billion Service Credit Union in Portsmouth, N.H.

Bill Arnold has more than 15 years of technology experience, including the past nine at $557 million Purdue Employees FCU in West Lafayette, Ind., where he was most recently vice president of information technology.

As CIO at Service CU, he will direct a staff of 15 and be responsible for technology delivery at 34 locations in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Germany, the credit union said.

Arnold holds a bachelor's degree from Florida Southern College, a master's degree from the University of Georgia and is a graduate of the CUNA Management School, Service CU said.

"Mr. Arnold will be a strong asset to our senior management team. He brings an exceptional technology background coupled with extensive credit union experience," said Service CU President/CEO Gordon Simmons.
