The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Marin has presented Redwood Credit Union its outstanding business diversity award.
The award is in recognition of the Santa Rosa, Calif.-based credit union's outreach to the Latino community, as well as its commitment to diversity in hiring and promoting within the organization.
Redwood CU's sponsorship and participation in numerous programs and activities that support the North Bay's Latino communities include educational workshops with the Canal Alliance in Marin, the Hispanic Chamber Scholarship in Sonoma County, the Hispanic Network Scholarship in Napa, Cinco de Mayo celebrations in Marin and Sonoma counties and the Cesar Chavez Health Fair in Santa Rosa.
