This past holiday season, Bethpage Federal Credit Union gave American troops the gift of music.
The credit union donated 200 iTunes gift cards to American troops serving in Afghanistan.
Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) delivered the gift cards to the troops when he visited them in Afghanistan on Dec. 26.
"We are so happy to have helped bring some holiday cheer to the American troops in Afghanistan this holiday season," said Linda Armyn, senior vice president at Bethpage FCU. "Music, like laughter, is a terrific de-stressor-we hope this donation brings some element of home to our dedicated troops."
