Snow Closes Federal Government, CU Trades

The record-setting snowfall in the Washington, D.C. area caused the federal government, including the NCUA, as well as CUNA, NAFCU and NASCUS to be closed today.

The region is still digging out from under the storm that dumped as much as two feet of snow in some areas.

The entire federal government is closed, except for personnel deemed to be "essential." The trades follow the federal government's policies on closings. CUNA's office in Madison, Wis. is open.
