Agriculture FCU Prepares for Electronic Services

Agriculture Federal Credit Union will soon be using a new suite of online and electronic products to help the Alexandria, Va., institution meets its goals of expanding member services while mitigating the rising cost of physical branches.

The $217 million credit union said it plans to go live in February with a new Web design and online banking functionality from PM Systems, a South Carolina-based provider of electronic banking and security services to about 190 credit unions.

Products to be deployed include online banking, account-to-account transfers, check imaging, electronic statements, bill pay and remote deposit capability, the credit union and company said.

"Our members are always looking for new ways to do business with us," said Agriculture FCU CEO Margie Click. "We feel by providing them with the latest financial technology services, our credit union will save money and enhance its value at the same time."

The 23,000-member credit union currently is a Digital Insight client, PM Systems said.
