Wings Financial Offers Atlanta Members Relief

With many residents still recovering from the recent floods that swept through Atlanta and surrounding areas, Wings Financial Federal Credit Union is offering some relief.

The $2.2 billion credit union said it stands ready to work with members by offering temporary loan payment deferrals and other assistance. Wings Financial, which is based in Apple Valley Minn., opened a branch near Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in 2006.

According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Atlanta floods caused 10 deaths and damaged more than 3,000 homes. FEMA estimates that the storm caused up to $1 billion in damages to highways, buildings and homes.
