Two N.Y. Leaders Pass

The New York credit union community is mourning the death of two longtime leaders-Alfred J. Mariani and Richard K. Moore.

Mariani and Moore were both members of New York's Credit Union Hall of Fame. Mariani was inducted in 2008 and Miller was inducted last month at the Credit Union Association of New York's Annual Convention.

He then went on to become manager/CEO of Syracuse University FCU.

Moore was a founding member of Reliant Community FCU. In 1985, he joined the board of directors and diligently served as its board chairman from1986 until his passing.
