In another effort to woo small businesses, Power Financial Credit Union has partnered with Digital Insight, an Intuit company, to help the firms manage their money.
The Sept. 16 free seminar on Digital Insight's Small Business FinanceWorks, an online financial management tool, will show businesses how to budget, manage invoicing and receivables, complete payroll including taxes and gain control over spending use the software.
Earlier this year, the $479 million Power Financial in Pembroke Pines, Fla. partnered with Staples to sponsor a financial makeover contest for small businesses. The winner received private financial consultations provided by Power Investments, marketing consultation with Power Financial's marketing department, a public relations audit from brainstorm2go Inc., financial literacy employee seminars and a $1,000 Staples gift card.
