Small Cleveland CU Goes Mobile

Eaton Family Credit Union can now offer its 11,000 members one of the same key services as the big banks it competes with in suburban Cleveland.

The $36 million institution has launched mobile banking, featuring an internally developed mobile Web site that includes bill pay and other account services along with contact, branch location and product information.

The Euclid-based credit union serves select employee groups that include the Eaton Corp, Lincoln Electric, General Electric, Hose Master, PCC Airfoils and the cities of Euclid and Wickliffe.

The mobile service uses the mFoundry platform through an arrangement with Co-Op Financial Services and the Ohio Credit Union League.
