Reminding current and prospective member credit unions about the association's value, NAFCU is using a new tagline to describe itself in public relations and advertising vehicles.
"NAFCU, your direct connection to education, advocacy & advancement," was picked after a recent market research study, said NAFCU President/CEO Fred Becker.
He added that it was part of the association's efforts to emphasize customer service and their connection with their members.
"This speaks to the direct connection that members have to our staff," Becker said. "These are difficult economic times and we want to remind members of the value they get from being part of NAFCU."
The survey of members was done by NAFCU; previously they hired outside firms to do the market research.
